Diverse Power Washington Youth Tour. Diverse Power will sponsor two local high school students on all expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. The two students, along with other participants from around the state, will begin the tour on June 14, 2012 and will conclude the tour with their arrival back in Atlanta on June 21, 2012. The students will tour the Capitol of our nation, as well as meet other high school students from around the country. Deadline: February 24, 2012

The Georgia Fire Sprinkler Association awards scholarships annually in the amount of $1500, $1000, and$750 to high school seniors through an essay writing contest.

The Music Department at the University of West Georgia invites musicians to the Destination: Music Monday, February 20, 2012. It will be a day of musical activities for prospective music majors. Auditions for admission and scholarships will happen on this day.
